Every day millions of people use maps to take them places. But what about maps as a work of art? Here are a few artists that use maps as their muse. (And I bet they never get lost!)
A guy from Ukraine, Alexandr Pashkevich, has made a model of Eiffel Tower from matches. The height of the structure is 3,3 ft (1 meter) and it consits of 15 000 different details made from 7464 matches. More than that there is a illumination in the tower, made of numerous LEDs.
Peter Callesen born on 1967 in Denmark creates an amazing small paper sculptures as well as framed wall objects, all made from A4 white paper. Check out some of his beautiful work of art.. truly awesome!
