Sadaqah isn’t just about giving money in Islam. There are many other ways to do it! Helping someone, sharing knowledge, or even just being kind are all acts of Sadaqah. These small acts of kindness are important in Islam and can be done by anyone, anytime. They show compassion and generosity, which are valued in our faith. By doing these things, we not only help others but also strengthen our own faith and create a caring community.

These 17 types represent the various ways we can give Sadaqah:
- Dua (Prayer): Pray to Allah for others, showing you care and support them spiritually.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge with those who don’t have it. Teach, mentor, or give educational resources to help people learn and grow.
- Advice Giving: Give wise advice, especially to younger people, to help them with life’s challenges and decisions.
- Smiling at Others: Greet people with a smile to create a friendly and warm community.
- Helping Others: Help those in need, whether by giving them things they need or solving their problems, showing kindness and support.
- Time Investment: Spend time with family members, especially parents and spouse, showing love, respect, and commitment.
- Nurturing (Tarbiyyah): Help raise children with good manners, values, and Islamic teachings so they grow up to be good people.
- Patience in Hard Times: Be patient and strong during tough times, without complaining, and trust in Allah’s plan.
- Offering Good Advice: Advise friends who have gone off the right path, encouraging them to follow Islamic principles.
- Preventing Evil Actions: Avoid doing bad things and promote peace and harmony by not engaging in violence or oppression.
- Speaking Gently: Talk kindly and humbly to others, avoiding arrogance and harsh words.
- Forgiving Others: Forgive those who ask for it, letting go of anger and grudges, and promoting peace.
- Showing Respect: Show respect and courtesy to everyone, recognizing their worth and treating them with dignity.
- Sharing in Others’ Joy: Celebrate others’ happiness and success without being jealous, creating a sense of community.
- Visiting the Sick: Visit and comfort sick people, offering support and prayers for their recovery.
- Removing Harmful Obstacles: Remove obstacles that stop others from progressing or being safe, promoting well-being.
- Guiding to the Right Path: Help those who are lost or misguided find the right way according to Islamic teachings.
