On Saturday 7th NOV 2009, 21-year-old Saudi striker Nawaf Al Abed scored what papers in the Kingdom are claiming to be the fastest goal ever recorded in a professional football match. The incident took place in the match between Al Hilal and Al Shoalah, which ended 4-nil to the hosts in the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Cup, with the goial officially clocked at two seconds.
